What a great week in the Waldviertel“ - a travelogue by Uwe Reitz

For five days, we set off from the Gasthof Drei Hacken to experience the Waldviertel and its immediate surroundings. On narrow agricultural roads we travelled, visited castles and ruins and enjoyed great views from the roads of the Mostviertel.

Every day was an experience. In the evening Andi, the landlord, spoiled our palate with his arts of cooking and his caring wife Silvy really looked after us. A place that we absolutely have to visit again.
